Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Programs for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time, non-exempt role supports activities for children ages 5–12 at our partner schools in New York, following the school calendar. Morning and/or afternoon sessions may be available.

Ideal candidates love working with children, bring energy, kindness and patience, and are reliable team players who communicate well with families.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Must pass health clearance including TB screening as required by state regulations.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism and reliability.

Mansioni

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, arts, STEAM and homework support.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and engaging environment and model positive behavior for children.
• Observe school policies and program guidelines; support attendance, registration, and staffing as needed.
