Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Program at Park Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time, non-exempt role follows the school calendar with morning and/or afternoon shifts.

You will facilitate activities, supervise children aged 5–12, and support a safe, engaging environment while collaborating with families and school staff. Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience working with children under 13.
• Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Warm, friendly, professional, and reliable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
