Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a Pre-K Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Program at Beekman Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. The position runs school days with a split schedule: morning 6:30 AM–9:15 AM and afternoon 2:15 PM–6:30 PM, with opportunities for both.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent (or 1 year of childcare experience). Benefits include employer-paid childcare and flexible, family-friendly hours aligned with the school calendar.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience with children under 13.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, per state regulations.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academics, art, and homework.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children.
• Observe state guidelines and program policies; support attendance records, registrations, and staffing as needed.
