Job summary

Summit Beverage is seeking a Relief Sales Representative to support the sales team by selling products, servicing accounts, and coordinating merchandising across an assigned territory in Montana. The role covers route coverage, customer relations, and collections, with a focus on achieving sales and distribution targets.

The candidate will visit retail accounts, ensure proper pricing, placement, and inventory levels while maintaining thorough records and logs for future calls.

Qualifications

• 3–5 direct sales experience preferably in beer/wine sales or related industry.
• 5+ years of industry-specific beer/wine sales experience or related field.

Responsibilities

• Pre-plan sales objectives and run route efficiently; call on accounts per established frequency.
• Inspect back stock, pricing, rotation, and merchandising; perform required merchandising duties.
• Maintain account receivable collections for assigned accounts.
• Deliver persuasive sales presentations and close sales calls.
• Document route books and records; keep logs to profile customer needs for next calls.
• Meet or exceed sales volume, profitability, and distribution goals.
• Recommend and perform resets; execute ad features and displays as directed.
