Beechwood Sales & Service, a Milwaukee-area beer distributor, is hiring a Full-Time Sales Trainee for the Off-Premise Sales Team. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in beverage distribution and customer service while training to become a Sales Representative, covering routes primarily in Milwaukee County.

We seek hardworking, energetic individuals with a strong work ethic, Sales and customer service experience, and a willingness to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a preferred emphasis in business or marketing or related field.
• Sales and customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability and willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic, high energy, and self-motivated with a desire to succeed.
• Superior organization skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of legal requirements regarding the sale and the delivery of alcoholic beverages.
• Must be able to lift, move and place cases weighing up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.

Responsibilities

• Promote and merchandise award-winning beer and spirits portfolio.
• Support local sales team in stocking, promoting and duties to grow sales.
• Develop and maintain effective customer relations to promote goodwill.
• Handle inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information and other inquiries.
• Cover sales routes and strengthen relationships with account owners.
• Ensure product rotation and proper codes for freshness.
• Execute brand displays and placement of promotion materials at key accounts.
• Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in assigned area.
• Support promotions in accounts as directed by Area Sales Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
