Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Meat/Seafood Department team member to provide excellent guest service and support department activities. You will prepare knife-ready products, assist with receiving and inventory, and ensure product freshness and proper rotation.

The role requires strong interpersonal and selling skills, the ability to work with others, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods in a cold environment. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with guests in the department.
• Prepare knife-ready meat/se seafood products per Lowes Foods standards (cut, slice, trim, wrap, weigh, price).
• Assist in product receiving, inventory, and storage.
• Price, stock, and rotate frozen items, prepared meats, and fresh meat/seafood in sales areas.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards in all meat/seafood prep and storage areas.
• Maintain product quality and freshness; ensure all products are in date.
• Communicate shrink issues to management and guest requests to management.
• Make PA announcements for sale and promotional items in the meat/seafood department.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen items, prepared meats, and fresh meat/seafood in sales areas.5. Maintains safety and sanitation standards in all areas that come in contact with meat/seafood and in the prep areas, coolers, freezers, and sales floor.6. Maintains high quality and freshness with products available for sale. Ensures all products are in date.7. Communicates shrink issues to management.8. Communicates guest requests/concerns to management.9. Makes PA announcements for sale and promotional items in the meat/seafood department.10. Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
