Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a Beef Shoppe/Seafood Clerk to provide excellent guest service in the meat and seafood department. You will use selling skills, merchandizing programs, and friendly interactions to boost sales and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include knife-ready product prep, inventory support, pricing and stocking, and maintaining strict safety and sanitation standards. The role offers flexible hours and a FUN work environment in a local SC store.

Qualifications

• Should possess good interpersonal skills and effective selling abilities.
• Ability to work well with others and interact with guests.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment and stand for extended periods.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides polite, friendly greetings and interactions with guests entering the department.
• Prepares knife-ready products for sale (cut, slice, trim, wrap, weigh, and price).
• Assists in product receiving, inventory, and storage.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen items, prepared meats, and fresh meat/seafood.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards in meat/seafood areas and prep zones.
• Communicates shrink issues and guest requests to management.
• Makes PA announcements for sale and promotional items in the meat/seafood department.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
