American Foods Group (AFG) is seeking a Sales Representative to join our Green Bay, WI corporate office. You will support the full sales process, liaising between customers, sales, operations, logistics and service teams to ensure accurate orders and timely communication.

The role focuses on growing revenue, maintaining margins, and building customer relationships, with emphasis on responding to inquiries and monitoring inventory availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in protein sales preferred.
• In-depth understanding of beef commodity markets, pricing strategies and market dynamics.
• Working knowledge of beef production (harvest and fabrication), boxed beef and variety meat products.
• Familiarity with NAMP/IMPS specifications, USDA grading standards, USDA reporting and meat industry terminology.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in various national markets.

Responsibilities

• Identify, grow, and pursue most profitable sales channels and establish optimal pricing for beef products.
• Expand sales volume and market penetration while maintaining sales margin objectives.
• Provide customers with timely pricing, availability and market information weekly as needed.
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure proper payments and terms.
• Prepare reports, forecasts and market analysis to support decision making.
• Maintain accurate customer files, pricing, and sales and serve as primary point of contact.
• Travel up to 50% as required.
