Job summary

Green Bay Dressed Beef, LLC (Acme Street), an American Foods Group company, is hiring a QA Technician in Green Bay, Wisconsin. You will perform daily task rotations, review GMP/SSOP/SOP paperwork, monitor food safety procedures, and interact with USDA as needed.

Responsibilities include inspections, data collection, and reporting findings. The role requires compliance with SQF, GMPs, HACCP and related SOPs, with possible overtime and varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to work in varied temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heights around moving equipment with PPE.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English (read, write, and speak).
• Ability to work extended scheduled hours Monday through Saturday with daily overtime.
• Must successfully complete training: Safety, SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, Food defense.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rotation of tasks (temperatures, box tare weights, sampling, and grade changes).
• Review and accurately complete required paperwork (GMP checks, SSOP corrective action log, and SOP corrective action log).
• Monitor the implementation and compliance of all food safety and quality procedures on the floor; report deficiencies and take corrective action.
• Perform visual line and finished product inspections to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Use production specification reports to gather, measure, analyze, and record inspection data.
• Collect samples to be sent to lab for analysis.
• Interact with USDA as needed.
• Interpret test results, compare to specifications, investigate and take corrective action, and document findings.
