Qualifications

• High school education plus 3-4 years of progressive supermarket experience.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of meat operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service in the meat department and support front-end as needed.
• Achieve budgeted financial results for the department.
• Prepare meat products for sale (cut, slice, trim, wrap, weigh, price) per standards.
• Execute merchandising programs, plan sales themes, maintain in-stock conditions, and manage weekly pricing and inventory.
• Schedule the department and ensure compliance with company standards.
