Mattress Warehouse is hiring Retail Sales Consultants in Chesapeake, VA. You will confidently sell premium mattresses and bedding using our bedMatch diagnostic system to tailor recommendations to each customer’s needs.

The role requires high energy, a team-first attitude, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. We offer a robust compensation package with hourly pay or commission, potential bonuses, and a substantial 401(k) employer match.

Qualifications

• Availability to work a retail schedule including evenings, holidays and weekends (4–5 days per week, 40–55 hours).
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish or other languages is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, reset showroom floor, and assist customers with loading mattress purchases.
• Provide a relaxed, low-pressure, educational shopping experience that improves customers’ lives through sleep solutions.
• Experience with tablets, mobile POS, and bedMatch system.
• Team‑oriented attitude, high energy, and enthusiasm.
• Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers and understanding their needs.

Responsibilities

• Sell premium mattress and bedding products using our proven selling process.
• Use bedMatch diagnostic system to help customers find their perfect mattress based on measurements and recommendations.
