Sentara Halifax Regional Medical Center is seeking a Bedflow Nursing Coordinator to join our team in South Boston, VA. This full-time role involves assessing, planning, and coordinating patient placement and transfers with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring capacity management is communicated to leadership and physicians.

ACLS is required within one year of hire; a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• ACLS required within one year of hire.
• ACLS certification may be obtained after hire as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for specified patient populations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to ensure timely patient placement and transfers.
• Share capacity management plans with nursing units, leadership and physicians.
• Serve as clinical resource in the absence of department leader.
