Job summary

VCNY Home is seeking a Bedding Designer to create original designs for a range of bedding products, from concept to finished item. The role collaborates with design support, sales, merchandising and production to translate vision into market-ready products.

The position requires a strong portfolio in textile design, proficiency with Photoshop/Illustrator and AI rendering tools, and experience with PLM systems. On-site four days a week, with a dynamic, creative team environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Textile Design or related field.
5+ years of Textile Design experience in home furnishings or fashion.
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and Ned Graphics.
Experience using AI tools to generate renderings and design mock-ups.
Understanding of product development and production processes.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent color and design sense.

Responsibilities

Create unique and original designs for wovens, embroideries, and prints aligned with brand aesthetics.
Translate product vision into bedding designs for duvet covers, quilts, and decorative items.
Maintain knowledge of fabrications, construction, and techniques.
Render complete bed looks using Adobe Creative Suite and AI tools like Gemini.
Follow development calendars to meet timelines and secure approvals.
Collaborate with Sales, Merchandising and Production teams as needed.
