Job summary

VCNY Home is seeking a Bedding Designer to create original designs for bedding, quilts, and decorative accents, translating concepts into finished products for diverse retailers. The role collaborates with Sales, Merchandising, and Production to ensure brand consistency and timely delivery.

Must render bed looks using Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator and AI tools; experience with PLM systems is preferred. Onsite work four days a week, with remote Fridays, and a strong eye for color and pattern is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Textile Design, Surface Pattern Design, Fashion Design, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Textile Design in home furnishings or fashion/apparel.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and Ned Graphics.
• Work experience using AI tools to aid in generating renderings and design mock-ups.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
• Must manage multiple projects at once.
• Excellent color and design sense.

Responsibilities

• Create unique and original designs for wovens, embroideries, and prints consistent with our brand aesthetic and values.
• Translate product vision into designs for bedding, duvet covers, quilts, blankets, decorative pillows, and throws.
• Maintain understanding of fabrications, construction, and techniques.
• Render complete bed looks using Adobe Creative Suite and AI tools (e.g., Gemini).
• Follow development calendar to meet timelines and obtain approvals.
• Experience in product development and production processes.
• Assist with any product design-related projects as needed.
• Exposure to PLM system and related workflows.

Bedding Designer

***Onsite work is required four days a week.***

VCNY Home is a forward-thinking home textiles supplier offering modern designs for every lifestyle and budget; we specialize in bedding, bath, window treatments, area rugs, home décor and table linens. The Designer is responsible for the creative design of Fashion Bedding products for a variety of retailers ranging from Mass Market to Fashion Market. The Designer works from concept to finished product while working with our design support teams.

The position works very closely with our Sales, Merchandising and Production teams

Primary Responsibilities:
