Indigo Home Inc in New York City seeks a Textile Print and Pattern Designer with a strong eye for color and trends to shape bedding collections. The designer will work with Design, Product Development, Production, and Sales teams to bring concepts to market while upholding design integrity, quality, and commercial appeal.

The role emphasizes design development, customer collaboration, and technical documentation, with travel for research and meetings as needed.

Formación

Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field.
Strong color sense and textile knowledge.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsabilidades

Design development: create bedding collections reflecting brand direction and trends.
Customer collaboration: translate aesthetic preferences into concepts and presentations.
Seasonal presentations: prepare milestones, deliverables, and calendars.
Design documentation: produce sketches, CADs, design boards, and line sheets.
Technical development: maintain tech packs, specs, and design revisions with teams.
Product execution: review samples, manage color/design approvals with vendors.
Research and innovation: forecast trends and explore new fabrics and treatments.
Brand presentation: ensure imagery/packaging align with the collection; travel as needed.
