Bachelor's in Nursing and MA licensure are required, with 5 years of acute care experience preferred to succeed in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• MA Licensed RN and Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5 years acute care clinical nursing required, ED/CC experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of community resources and Utilization/Quality Review standards.
• Understanding of hospital patient placement guidelines to support throughput.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate accurate patient placement based on clinical relevance and care management.
• Coordinate BH ED admissions and Regional Transfer Center requests for correct bed assignment.
• Collaborate with providers for transfer requests to ensure timely care.
• Oversee internal flow/throughput and decisions on bed assignments and level of care.
• Act as clinical expert/decision maker for daily throughput and bed status.
