Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Bed Manager to coordinate emergent transfers from physician offices, external facilities and within Penn Medicine. The role involves placing reservations in EPIC and communicating admission needs to the care team and placing patients in appropriate service locations.

In collaboration with the Bed Management RN and other teams, you will manage bed requests, support patient flow, document bed assignments, and ensure timely admissions across UPHS hospitals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required and healthcare experience preferred.
