Job summary

UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh seeks a Capacity Management Coordinator (Clerical Support) to join the Administrators on Duty team. This full-time night-shift role supports bed management and patient flow, primarily by phone, with rotating evenings and weekends.

You will provide clerical and technical support to the capacity management group, maintain confidential records, assist with admissions flow, and coordinate with AOD to optimize patient entry and disposition.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer confidence and protect information confidentiality.
• Provide technical support for pre-admit issues and bed board training.
• Assist with appropriate flow of admissions and patient placement.
• Respond courteously to needs of patients and staff, with respect.
• Research and draft routine reports.
• Coordinate with AOD to monitor patient occupancy and entry from ED, clinics, and other sources.
• Operate systems and office equipment efficiently.
• Support core values and department policies in daily tasks.
