Job summary

Metromont is seeking a Bed Group Leader in Bartow, FL to join our precast concrete team. You will participate in setting up and pouring forms, reading blueprints, and coordinating the bed crew to meet production targets.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of construction experience and a strong work ethic, with a focus on safety and teamwork in an outdoor environment. This is an hourly, full-time on-site role with varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping and waste disposal throughout the shift
• Collect and prepare materials as directed
• Prepare and clean forms
• Reads blueprints and shop tickets
• Identify and report shop ticket errors
• Measures and marks locations for placement of items in forms
• Direct or assist with concrete pours as needed
• Direct or assist with raking, screeding, and leveling concrete as needed
• Operate various types of equipment such as hoists, overhead cranes, hand, and power tools
• Must adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
• Housekeeping as necessary to maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
