Job summary

Metromont LLC is seeking a Bed Group Leader in Florida to oversee setup and pour processes for multiple product types on site. You will read blueprints, prepare materials, and guide a crew to maintain quality and safety during pours.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of general construction experience. Expect outdoor work with varying weather and a Monday–Friday schedule, plus potential overtime as needed.

Job description

POSITION PURPOSE

The Bed Group Leader works as a member of a team to complete the setup and pour processes for various product types.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• General housekeeping and waste disposal throughout the shift
• Collect and prepare materials as directed
• Prepare and clean forms
• Reads blueprints and shop tickets
• Identify and report shop ticket errors
• Measures and marks locations for placement of items in forms
• Direct or assist with concrete pours as needed
• Direct or assist with raking, screeding, and leveling concrete as needed
• Operate various types of equipment such as hoists, overhead cranes, hand, and power tools
• Must adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
• Housekeeping as necessary to maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.

• Sheltered, outdoor environment
• Work area is not climate controlled and may be exposed to changing weather and temperature conditions
• Monday - Friday
• Schedule varies with workload and location
• Unscheduled overtime may be required depending on business needs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
