Job summary

Metromont LLC is seeking a project management intern to train across plant operations, field activities, and project management. You will become familiar with Steel Fab, Material Handling, Quality Control, Carpentry Shop, and Dry/Wet Finishing processes while adhering to OSHA safety rules.

The role offers exposure to plant environments and team-based project tasks. Ideal candidates are adaptable to changing schedules and demonstrate a commitment to safe work practices within a manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to plant operations including departments: Steel Fab, Material Handling, Quality Control, Carpentry Shop, Dry/Wet Finishing.
• Assist in understanding Metromont manufacturing processes through training in plant environment, field operations, and project management.
• Work under supervision and follow safety guidelines.

POSITION PURPOSE

The project management intern is responsible for training in the plant environment, field operations, and project management. This position will become familiar with all plant operations to understand Metromont manufacturing processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gain exposure to plant operations including these departments:
  • Steel Fab
  • Material Handling
  • Quality Control
  • Carpentry Shop
  • Dry/Wet Finishing
• Must adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires standing for long periods of time, lifting (up to 75 lbs.) and bending, repetitive motion with medium force, and an ability to frequently climb up to 15 feet above ground using stairs
