METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER is seeking a Bed Management RN to oversee and coordinate admissions placement from OSH, direct admits, and intra-facility transfers, aligning with clinical standards.

This role ensures patients are placed in the most appropriate bed based on availability and admission criteria, and upholds the Centralized Bed Management System policies, while reflecting the MetroHealth mission and patient service standards.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Ohio.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Three to five years of clinical experience in critical care or combination of critical care and emergency care as an RN.
• Proven excellent customer service skills.
• Proven ability to multitask.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate with physicians, staff, patients, and families.

Responsabilités

• Oversees and coordinates placement of admissions from OSH, direct admits, and intra-facility transfers per clinical standards.
• Ensures patients are admitted to the most appropriate bed using admission criteria.
• Upholds policies and processes of Centralized Bed Management System, admission, discharge, and throughput.
• Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
