Job summary

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred.
• Current CT RN license required.
• Minimum five years in clinical setting with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admissions, discharges and transfers to optimize patient throughput.
• Implement and monitor hospital program goals to support throughput.
• Coordinate with managers and executives to align census, acuity and staffing.
• Direct clinical management to support bed management processes.
• Collaborate with leaders to remove barriers to efficient care delivery.
• Ensure smooth bed management operations to reduce wait times.
• Manage patient placement across inpatient and observation beds.
