Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Bed Control Registered Nurse for full-time night shift. You will coordinate and assign beds, working closely with physicians, ED, inpatient units, and surgical services to optimize patient flow and service quality.

You will apply strong patient‑centered care, problem solving, and collaboration to ensure timely bed assignments and appropriate levels of care, contributing to exemplary outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• 3-5 years' RN experience in acute care (CCU/ER preferred)
• Proficient with EPIC EMR platform

Responsibilities

• The Bed Control RN coordinates and assigns all beds at Piedmont Fayette Hospital, collaborating with multiple departments to optimize patient flow.
• Uses problem solving and customer service to determine the best course of action for patients, physicians, and the hospital.
