Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Bed Control Registered Nurse to coordinate and assign beds and collaborate with ED and inpatient units to ensure optimal patient flow. This full-time, day-shift role offers a supportive team and access to advanced technology for patient care.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of RN experience in acute care, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with the EPIC EMR system, plus a Georgia RN license and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• 3–5 years' experience as an RN in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign beds at Piedmont Fayette Hospital to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Collaborate with ED, inpatient units, and physicians to optimize care and bed utilization.
