Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA is seeking a Bed Control Registered Nurse to coordinate bed assignments and facilitate patient flow across units and departments using EPIC EMR.

The role requires 3–5 years of RN experience in acute care, Georgia licensure, and a strong customer service focus; you’ll work in a fast-paced environment with leadership responsibilities and collaboration with physicians and staff to ensure timely admissions and discharges.

Qualifications

• RN with Georgia State Licensure or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• 3–5 years' RN experience in acute care (CCU/ED preferred).
• Proficient with EPIC EMR platform.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign beds for Piedmont Fayette Hospital.
• Collaborate with physician offices, ED, inpatient units, and staff to facilitate patient flow.
• Determine best course of action for patient, physician, and hospital through problem solving and service.
• Support leadership with bed management decisions and priority setting.
