Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is hiring a Bed Control RN to coordinate and assign bed assignments and improve patient flow across ED, inpatient units, and surgical areas. You will work with physicians, supervisors, and staff to determine the best care path and bed placement in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of RN experience in acute care, proficiency with EPIC EMR, and GA licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• GA RN licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure current in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign beds at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.
• Collaborate with physician offices, ED, inpatient units, surgical services and procedural areas to facilitate patient flow.
