Job summary

Nordstrom Beauty Department is seeking team members to create personalized beauty experiences, perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, and guide customers toward products that fit their goals. You will collaborate with a passionate team to maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment while achieving sales targets across in-store and digital channels.

You will book appointments, drive sales for beauty events, and keep the department organized and customer-ready.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and beauty, including trends, makeup application, and skincare.
• Excellent ability to connect with customers, proactively handle concerns and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Empathy and respect for all customers during makeup and skincare applications.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Drive to achieve sales goals with interest in networking and technology.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Physical requirements include long periods of standing, frequent movement and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications, skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals.
• Collaborate with team to create a welcoming environment for all customers.
• Set and achieve sales goals, in-store and online using selling tools.
• Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services.
• Keep department organized and customer-ready.
• Stay updated on beauty trends and products through trainings.
• Manage sales, refunds, exchanges, and build Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
