Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead store operations, drive top-line sales, optimize inventory and payroll, and manage omnichannel processes, price changes, and markdowns.

You will build and mentor a diverse, high-performing team, deliver coaching and training, and ensure policy compliance while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

This full-time role requires early shifts, weekend availability, and a proactive, results-driven approach aligned with Ulta Beauty’s values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1-2+ years of fast-paced, retail management, or other relevant work experience.
• Finance: success with driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expense.
• Leadership: experience with attracting, developing, and motivating top talent, swiftly adapting to change and leading others.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations including shipment, replenishment, omni-channel, price changes, and markdowns.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth, and expense control.
• Leverage store forecast and payroll budgets to support scheduling and communicate needs to GM.
• Review, analyze, and react to store financial and operational reporting and audits.
• Develop and coach a diverse team, including training and feedback to enable growth and drive sales.
