Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead a high-performing store team and drive top-line sales through operational excellence, people development, and process discipline. You will oversee shipments, replenishment, omni-channel tasks, price changes and markdowns while coaching Associates, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with company standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–2+ years retail management experience, strong financial judgment, and a passion for guest service

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1–2+ years of fast-paced retail management or related work experience.
• Financial management: driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expenses.
• Retail management: monitoring inventory, executing merchandising directives, and delivering service excellence.
• Leadership: attracting, developing, and motivating a team and guiding through change.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet or exceed store goals for sales, loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence and expense control.
• Use forecasts and payroll budgets to optimize scheduling and productivity.
• Review financial and operational reporting and act on insights.
• Lead guest engagement initiatives and coach associates to deliver exceptional service.
