Job summary

Ulta Beauty, a premier beauty retailer, is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead a store team, optimize operations, and drive top-line sales. The MM reports to the Operations Manager and oversees shipment, replenishment, omni-channel, price changes, and markdowns while focusing on performance, people, and process.

Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years in retail management, strong leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced retail management experience preferred (1–2+ years).
• Ability to drive top-line sales and manage payroll budgets.
• Experience with inventory, merchandising, and guest service.
• Leadership experience and ability to motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet store goals across sales, loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence and expense control.
• Use forecast and budgets to plan schedules and maximize productivity.
• Lead makeup applications and product demonstrations to boost sales.
• Ensure compliance with policies, dress code, and SOPs.
• Provide coaching, training, and development for associates.
