Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a high-performing store team and drive top-line sales growth. You will oversee the Merchandise Manager and Task Associates, manage planograms, inventories, and compliance, and lead talent development and training to boost performance.

The role requires experience in retail operations, budgeting, and merchandising execution, with a focus on delivering guest experiences and store profitability. Flexibility for full-time shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 2-3+ years of fast-paced retail management or similar experience.
• Financial management: experience driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expenses.
• Retail management: ability to monitor inventory levels, drive a service culture, and execute merchandising directives.
• Leadership management: experience attracting, developing, and motivating top talent, adapting to change, and leading others.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet store goals for sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence and top-line sales.
• Manage scheduling and attendance to maximize productivity.
• Review financial and operational reporting to identify opportunities.
• Lead makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
