Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a high-performing team and drive top-line sales growth. You will oversee the Merchandise Manager and Task Associates, manage store operations, inventory life-cycle, and compliance through people, process, and performance focus.

The role requires passion for operational excellence, strong leadership, and ability to navigate complexity while delivering results and guest experience. On-site, full-time opportunity with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 2-3+ years of fast-paced retail management or related work experience.
• Financial mastery: drive top-line sales, interpret reports, manage payroll and expenses.
• Retail management: inventory, merchandising, service culture and compliance.
• Leadership: attract, develop, motivate and coach talent.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet store goals for sales, loyalty, payroll and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence and cost control.
• Schedule staff within payroll budgets and adjust workloads as needed.
• Review financial and operational reporting and store audits.
• Lead and develop a diverse store team with coaching and performance reviews.
• Ensure policy, dress-code and safety standards are consistently followed.
• Manage inventory, planograms, ad sets and life-cycle processes.
