American International Industries, Inc. seeks a Manager of PR & Brand Communications to lead the public relations and external communications for its beauty brand portfolio.

You will develop annual and seasonal PR plans, build industry relationships, and drive earned media, awards, and events. You will oversee press materials, creator collaborations, and high-impact launches, translating product innovations into compelling stories.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in public relations, communications, or brand communications, preferably within beauty, cosmetics, personal care, fashion, or consumer products.
• Proven experience developing and leading successful PR strategies and product launches.
• Strong existing relationships with beauty editors, journalists, creators, influencers, makeup artists, and other industry professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to secure meaningful earned media and create brand visibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PR and communications strategy across the beauty brand portfolio and develop annual and seasonal PR plans.
• Oversee media relations, influencer and creator relations, product seeding, events, and awards.
• Secure high-quality earned media coverage, editor opportunities, and brand storytelling across channels.
• Manage external communications materials including press releases, media kits, and talking points.
• Develop relationships with beauty editors, journalists, and industry contacts; identify and collaborate with creators and ambassadors.
• Monitor competitors and trends to maintain brand relevance and strategic partnerships.
• Partner with senior management, Legal, and Regulatory on external communications for sensitive issues.
• Track KPIs, report results, and optimize PR investments for awareness and consumer engagement.
