Job summary

Ulta Beauty is hiring a Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional guest experiences, engage guests, and determine their beauty needs on the sales floor.

You will perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales, while supporting cashier tasks and in-store events. The role requires knowledge of products, a flexible schedule, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
• Passion for guest service and selling.
• Proficiency with basic technology (POS and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and engage guests to determine needs.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Support cashier tasks and online order assistance as needed.
• Book appointments and support in-store services and events delivering a great guest experience.
• Maintain store cleanliness, replenish fixtures, and assist with inventory and displays.
• Stay informed about product knowledge to educate guests effectively.
