Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience by greeting guests, assessing needs, applying makeup, and guiding purchases. You will keep fixtures stocked, maintain store cleanliness, and support events and promotions to drive sales.

This role requires a passion for beauty, strong guest service, and the ability to learn product knowledge. A high school diploma is preferred with about 1 year of related experience; a flexible schedule is common for full-time

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage each guest, understanding their needs and promoting products and services.
• Perform makeup applications and skincare analysis to drive sales and guest experience.
• Assist with online orders, returns, and exchanges as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, stocking, and facing of merchandise.
• Support in-store events and service bookings to enhance guest experience.
• Learn about products and promotions to provide informed recommendations.
