Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience, assist with services, and keep fixtures stocked and stores clean. You will engage guests, perform makeup applications, answer questions, and promote promotions and loyalty programs to drive sales.

The role requires strong guest service, comfort with POS technology, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Flexible schedule including weekends may be required, with full-time and part-time

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and shrink.
• Greet and engage each guest, inform about promotions, and recommend products and services.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Stay informed about products and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business.
• Participate in ongoing training for brand and category education.
