Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional guest experiences, assist with cashier duties, keep the store clean, and support in‑store events. You will greet guests, assess needs, demonstrate cosmetics and skincare, and recommend solutions to drive sales.

We value product knowledge, teamwork with leadership, and adherence to policies. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is required; prior beauty retail experience is a plus, with on‑the‑job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni‑channel sales, and shrink reduction as set by Ulta Beauty.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service with greeting, personalized recommendations, and product information.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments and support services and in‑store events to deliver a superior guest experience while meeting sales targets.
• Stay informed about new and existing products and communicate their benefits to guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
