Job summary

Voyant Beauty in La Grange, IL seeks a Lead Compounder to oversee daily compounding operations, maintain batch records, train staff, and ensure cGMP compliance.

You will lead changeovers, supervise documentation, operate equipment, and collaborate across teams to meet production targets. Requires 4–6 years in chemical/manufacturing compounding and a High School Diploma; forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• 4–6 years in chemical/manufacturing compounding field.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate compounding activities to match batch records and schedules.
• Conduct changeovers between products, including equipment setup and sanitation.
• Batch and sample scheduled product runs, acting as main reviewer or approver.
• Provide hands-on training to compounders on GMP and safety practices.
• Maintain and approve production documentation (logbooks, batch records, SOPs).
• Operate forklift and assist in equipment troubleshooting with cross-functional teams.
