Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking a Beauty Advisor to drive sales through authentic beauty passion and consultative client engagement. You will maintain expert knowledge of top beauty brands, execute merchandise sets and support replenishment and visual standards according to Sephora at Kohl’s guidelines.

Key duties include building client loyalty, upselling, demonstrating products, completing required training, and maintaining department cleanliness and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Authentic passion for beauty required.
• Client-facing retail or service industry experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to influence clearly.
• Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build strong client loyalty and identify needs to suggest products to drive sales, including upselling opportunities.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and beauty trends to establish credibility with clients.
• Inspire clients by demonstrating products and applications to drive sales and confidence.
• Complete required training to expand knowledge.
• Execute Sephora at Kohl’s visual merchandising and operational standards.
• Support omni-processing within the department.
• Assist inventory management from receipt to sale, including back stock and price changes.
• Communicate missed or damaged product/fixtures to the supervisor.
