Job summary

Kohl's is seeking a Beauty Advisor to drive sales through a passion for beauty and engage clients with a consultative approach. You will maintain expert knowledge of top beauty brands, execute merchandise sets, and support replenishment and visual standards per Sephora at Kohl’s guidelines.

You will build client loyalty, demonstrate product credibility, and upsell where appropriate while participating in training and upholding department cleanliness and safety standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• Authentic passion for beauty.
• Client-facing retail or service industry experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence in a clear and concise manner.
• Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build strong client loyalty and influence clients by identifying their needs and suggesting products to drive sales, including upsell opportunities.
• Demonstrate credibility to the client through knowledge of products and beauty trends.
• Inspire clients through demonstrating products and application of products to drive sales.
• Actively engage and complete all required training to expand knowledge.
• Execute and maintain Sephora visual merchandising and operational standards, including merchandise sets and department cleanliness.
• Support omni-processing within the department and inventory management from receipt to sale.
