Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years related experience in a lab or industrial setting.
• Operate and troubleshoot sophisticated electro-optical-mechanical and logic control systems.
• Strong ability to design, prototype and commission scientific equipment.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical support and operational oversight for SSRL beamlines and equipment.
• Interface between user groups, experiment support groups and operations groups.
• Assist with installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of beamlines and subsystems.
• Create technical documents and user manuals; ensure safety compliance and orientation for new users.
• Monitor system configurations and respond to issues affecting beamline operations.
