Job summary

Speedrack Products Group in Quincy Plant seeks a Beam Mill Supervisor to oversee the Beam Mill Department during the assigned shift, ensuring safe, efficient operations, quality and on-time production.

You will coordinate material flow, tooling, changeovers, and cross-functional collaboration with Planning, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to meet customer specifications and schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years experience in Manufacturing with 5 years in a Supervisory position.
• Experience leading union-represented manufacturing employees.
• Fluent in written and oral English and the ability to effectively communicate to others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct daily Beam Mill Department operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity objectives.
• Review schedules, priorities, staffing, materials, tooling readiness, and equipment condition to meet customer and shipping requirements.
• Coordinate across departments to maximize utilization and schedule attainment.
• Monitor output, downtime, and performance; initiate corrective actions when off plan.
• Ensure proper setup and operation of beam roll-forming mills and related equipment.
• Lead safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
