Job summary

Nordic is seeking an experienced Application Advisor for Epic Beaker to lead design, build, testing and troubleshooting for Nordic’s Nordic customers. You will mentor teammates, oversee engagements, and act as the Beaker lead for small to mid-size clients.

You will manage complex projects while documenting processes, guiding change, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Travel up to 5% and a strong emphasis on collaboration and service excellence are expected.

Qualifications

• Active Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology (CP) certification is required.
• Active Beaker Anatomic Pathology (AP) certification is also desirable.
• 3+ years of direct Beaker experience.
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience, required.
• Must demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims.
• Proven ability to apply problem solving and technical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; make the complex simple, persuasion; all levels of an organization up to C suite.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize.
• Must be able to work independently, as well as within a team environment.
• Prior experience with ticketing systems and change management processes.
• Strong customer service track record.
• Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, previous management and project management experience, and participation in previous systems implementations, preferred.
• Demonstrated sound judgment and appropriate escalation.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert-level troubleshooting to ensure EHR application integrity for Nordic’s complex customers.
• Translate requests into detailed requirements and perform system build and testing.
• Anticipate impact of changes to other systems and manage related risks.
• Lead workflow analysis and system audits; oversee upgrades and testing.
• Manage projects/items with high complexity affecting patient safety and compliance.
• Document customer configurations and establish support processes.
• Handle multiple clients and projects with minimal oversight; track issues and calendars.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation in ticketing systems and ensure SLAs.
• Follow change control policies for migrations of builds and configs.
• Support ad hoc internal initiatives and onboarding of team members.
