Job summary

The Ranch Laguna Beach is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Steward to support all kitchen operations across restaurant and banquet venues. You will clean and sanitize dishware and cookware, maintain cleanliness of kitchens and storage areas, and assist with basic food prep as needed.

Requirements include a high school education and prior steward experience. The role may involve setting up buffet displays and driving golf carts; flexible schedules are possible in a resort environment.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain government licenses, certificates or permits.
• Prior experience as a steward in a full-service restaurant or resort.
• Team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all china, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots and pans for Ranch LB properties.
• Ensure the restaurant and banquet kitchens have required dishware for each shift and sufficient carts/racks for dirty dishes, silverware, pots and pans.
• Responsible for sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchens and food prep areas, including ovens, grills, stoves, hoods, fryers, tables and floors.
• Empty trash continuously to ensure cleanliness.
• Assist with food prep duties as needed.
• Assist with setting up banquet buffet displays and equipment.
• Drive golf carts.
