Job summary

Kimpton Shorebreak Hotel in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Front Desk Agent to assist guests with arrival and departure, check-in/check-out, and provide exceptional service. You will input guest data, handle payments, and promote HEI Hotels and Resorts programs to guests.

The role requires excellent communication, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to use a calculator for moderately complex math with accuracy.
• Effective dealing with internal and external customers with tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the front office and input information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly welcome and provide accurate information.
• Complete registration by inputting and retrieving data in the system.
• Verify credit cards, handle payments, and balance a house bank.
• Answer phones promptly and relay messages to guests.
• Close guest accounts at check-out and resolve guest concerns.
• Remain calm during emergencies and high hotel activity.
