Job summary

Evermore Orlando Resort is hiring as a restaurant server to deliver exceptional guest service across our bayside dining and resort outlets. You will greet guests, take orders, suggest beverages, and ensure accurate, timely delivery in a vibrant, upscale resort setting.

Ideal candidates have 2-4 years in hospitality, strong communication, and a passion for upselling while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 2-4 years of hospitality and serving experience.
• Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and upselling.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage items, including menu offerings.
• Physical ability to carry trays, navigate outdoor environments, and stand for extended periods.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling payments.
• Food, alcohol, and safety certifications under FL requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• Capable of performing the role in a busy work environment.
• Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide guest service across restaurant and resort food & beverage areas.
• Greet guests warmly and engage professionally to anticipate needs.
• Take and deliver accurate orders, including dietary considerations.
• Make beverage recommendations and answer menu questions.
• Ensure timely service and maintain a clean, organized station.
• Handle payments accurately and assist with upselling promotions.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
• Train new servers and uphold Evermore brand standards.
• Follow safety procedures and comply with regulations.
