Job summary

The Westin Jekyll Island Beach Resort is seeking a Set-Up Attendant to transform event spaces by the ocean. You will prepare banquet setups, arrange chairs, and assemble décor to help create unforgettable experiences for weddings, conferences, and beachside events.

Roles involve teamwork, staying organized in a fast-paced environment, and lifting/moving equipment. Previous hospitality or event setup is a plus, and a positive, can-do attitude is valued.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or event setup experience is a plus.
• Needed to lift, move and arrange equipment and furniture.
• A keen eye for detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and arrange event spaces according to specifications.
• Set up banquet tables and arrange chairs for conferences or weddings.
• Prepare décor and ensure details are correct for each event.
• Collaborate with events and banquet teams to flip spaces between events.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment from early morning through evening.
