The St. Joe Resort Operations LLC is seeking a friendly Beach Attendant to provide chairs, umbrellas and towels to guests, keep the beach area prepped, and escort guests to their preferred setup.

You will load and transport equipment, assist with setup, respond to guest inquiries, handle minor emergencies, and follow safety procedures. CPR certification is preferred and training may be provided after employment.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education and literacy to identify and read Product labels and communicate with guests about job needs.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English is preferred.
• Some experience in customer service is strongly preferred.
• CPR certification (can obtain after employment).

Responsabilités

• Greet guests in a friendly helpful manner.
• Load and transport beach equipment and towels prior to each shift.
• Assist in the setup of tables, chairs, tents, and umbrellas.
• Properly store equipment when not in use.
• Lead guests to beach setup and assist with requests.
• Assist guests with related questions and concerns.
• Assist guests with minor emergencies and first aid.
• Respond to major emergencies requiring lifeguard or calling 911.
• Monitor and maintain appearance of beach.
• Keep work area tidy and organized.
• Collect all beach equipment and soiled towels at end of shift.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job SummaryThe role of a beach attendant is to provide equipment such as chairs and umbrellas to hotel guest for them to enjoy while on the beach.
