Job summary

Chevrolet GMC of Fairbanks, part of Lithia & Driveway, is hiring a BDC Administrator to join the Service Department. The role focuses on customer relations, data collection, product knowledge, pricing, and promotions to boost appointments and retention. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer relations process management to put the customer first.
• Create accountable continuous improvement plans via observations and meetings.
• Gather accurate customer data to build a follow-up database.
• Build knowledge of product info, pricing, events and promotions.
• Use computer skills to increase appointments, sales, and retention.
• Follow up with customers by phone to resolve issues.
• Set solid appointments from daily call-ins and leads.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a customer-focused BDC Administrator to join our Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working around vehicles and takes pride in creating a great customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Lead customer relations process management at assigned store(s) by observing, installing, and training approved processes, to assure our customer's perspective comes first.
• Develop accountable, continuous improvement plans for assigned store(s), by observations and conducting meetings with the GSM/LSMS Coordinator, this will keep all team members thinking about our customers.
• Gather accurate customer information to create a database for follow-up and retention
• Build knowledge of product information, current sales pricing, and dealership and manufacturer events and promotions.
• Use computer skills within our internet department to increase appointments, sales, and customer retention.
• Utilize phone skills to follow up with customers about their experience, resolve any issues or concerns that they may have encountered and send any major issues to the LSMS Coordinator or General Manager for further review.
• Utilize phone skills to set solid appointments with daily customer call-ins, lists of sold and unsold floor traffic, previous customers, referrals, conquests, other generic leads and service and parts customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
